Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Junior RF Engineer to grow within the wireless engineering field. This role supports senior engineers in RF planning, performance analysis, drive testing, and cluster-level optimization. Candidates with academic experience in wireless systems or internship experience with Verizon Wireless or other major carriers are strongly encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with RF design and planning, including coverage mapping and propagation analysis
  2. Support drive tests, data collection, and log analysis
  3. Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and assist with troubleshooting network issues
  4. Collaborate with senior engineers on parameter audits, neighbor planning, and cluster optimization
  5. Document findings and help prepare performance and engineering reports
  6. Learn and apply industry-standard RF tools and processes


Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
  2. Foundational understanding of LTE/5G concepts, RF propagation, and cellular systems
  3. Familiarity with RF tools such as Actix, TEMS, Nemo, or similar
  4. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn RF engineering best practices


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Internship or co-op experience with Verizon Wireless or other major carriers
  2. Exposure to Atoll, Planet, WinProp, Actix, TEMS, Nemo, or similar tools
  3. Basic knowledge of Python, MATLAB, or other scripting tools
  4. Understanding of 3GPP standards, mobility concepts, and RF KPIs
