About the Role
We are looking for experienced Nokia Field Integration Engineers based in or willing to work across Florida, supporting the commissioning, integration, and deployment of Nokia RAN and transport equipment on active telecom networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning, and integration of Nokia AirScale BBU/RRU equipment (FSM4, L600, N600, L2.5, N2.5).
- Loading SCF files, software packages, and RET configuration on Nokia platforms.
- Commissioning and integration of Nokia Cell Site Routers (7250 IXR-e, 7705 SAR).
- Backhaul termination and validation on CSR for respective technologies.
- GPS cable termination for synchronisation and daisy-chain configurations.
- Performing E911 call testing, SAT acceptance testing, and KPI validation.
- Fibre optic cleaning, testing (OTDR/scope), and troubleshooting.
- Completing Close Out Packages (COPs) and site documentation.
- Coordinating with RF engineers, construction crews, and NOC teams to resolve on-site issues.
- Executing MOPs and SOWs accurately and independently in the field.
- Alarm monitoring and resolution during and post integration.
- Supporting carrier aggregation configurations and CPRI/eCPRI interface setups.
- Working closely with remote support teams for troubleshooting and fault resolution.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of Nokia field integration experience — AirScale platform essential.
- Hands-on experience with Nokia BTS Manager, WebEM, and NSP tools.
- Nokia 7250 IXR-e / 7705 SAR Cell Site Router commissioning experience.
- Strong knowledge of LTE/5G RAN integration — BBU, RRU, and antenna systems.
- Fibre optic testing and troubleshooting (OTDR, SFPs).
- E911 call testing and site acceptance experience.
- Ability to read and execute MOPs, as-builts, and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of CPRI/eCPRI and fronthaul/backhaul concepts.
- OSHA 10/30 certified.
- Valid driving licence — travel across Florida required.
- Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
- CCNA or Nokia NRS I/II certification preferred.
