Construction Project Manager – Verizon

About the Role:

Techner is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager (CPM) to support Verizon projects in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecom or mobile construction project management and prior experience managing Verizon projects, including familiarity with Verizon tools and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and track multiple Verizon construction projects simultaneously, ensuring milestones are met within designated SLAs.
2. Utilize Verizon tools, with a strong focus on Fuze Milestone, to monitor project workflows and progress.
3. Oversee typical Macro/SMC mod project requirements, including radios, antennas, and associated hardware.
4. Verify and approve BOMs; manage material orders and track inventory.
5. Monitor project costs and prepare regular tracking reports.
6. Ensure consistent communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
7. Work independently while adhering to established plans, guidelines, and SLAs.

Requirements:

1. Prior experience as a Verizon CPM, with hands-on knowledge of Verizon project management tools.
2. Proven background in telecom or mobile construction projects.
3. Solid understanding of Macro/SMC mod requirements, including radios, antennas, and related infrastructure.
4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
