Job Description:

We are seeking a mid-level RF Design Engineer to support planning and design activities across macro, small cell, EME, and in-building solutions. This role focuses on RF design and compliance, with exposure to indoor coverage design and occasional site support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LTE and 5G network design, RF optimization, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform Macro RF design for LTE and 5G networks, including new site design, redesign, and optimization.
  2. Support Small Cell (SMC) planning and integration with the macro layer.
  3. Conduct EME / RF exposure calculations and prepare compliance documentation.
  4. Develop In-building (IBS) and indoor RF designs for selected venues.
  5. Prepare RF design deliverables such as coverage plots, RFDS, EME reports, and technical documentation.
  6. Support performance validation and troubleshooting activities.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in occasional site surveys as required.

Requirements:

  1. 3–7 years of experience in RF design and planning.
  2. Strong hands-on experience with Macro RF design (LTE / 5G).
  3. Hands-on experience with Atoll and/or Planet (mandatory).
  4. Experience with Small Cell design and capacity offload solutions.
  5. Working knowledge of EME / RF safety compliance and exposure assessments.
  6. Experience with In-building / indoor RF design tools such as Ekahau, iBwave, or cnHeat.
  7. Familiarity with RF performance and validation tools such as Actix, TEMS, or equivalent.
  8. Good understanding of antenna parameters, propagation models, and interference management.

Nice to Have:

  1. Experience with Asset, U-Net, MapInfo, ArcGIS, or Global Mapper.
  2. Exposure to operator OSS tools (Huawei, Nokia, Ericsson).
  3. Previous experience working across multiple markets or operators.

What We Offer:

  1. Competitive compensation aligned with experience.
  2. Long-term engagement on network design and RF optimization projects.
  3. Opportunity to work with cutting-edge LTE and 5G technologies.
  4. Collaborative environment with technically driven teams.
