About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Telecom Design Engineer with hands-on experience in preparing As-Built drawings and comprehensive site design documentation, including layouts, schematics, GA/ECNIRP drawings, and related deliverables. The candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD and have practical exposure to telecom sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review As-Built drawings, site layouts, schematics, GA/ECNIRP drawings, and documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with telecom standards, client specifications, and health & safety requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve design queries and provide technical input on optimisation and cost-effective solutions.
- Support design approvals, document control, and quality checks.
Requirements:
- Must-have: Hands-on design experience for both active and passive telecom elements.
- Hands-on experience in preparing As-Built drawings and site design documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- 7–10 years of telecom design experience in mobile networks.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design/documentation tools.
- Knowledge of telecom infrastructure: towers, shelters, power, fibre, transmission.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent English communication.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with UK telecom design standards and approvals.
- Experience supporting mobile network rollout or upgrade projects.
